i've been free-reign on the internet since i was 8 (2012) and i've only fallen further in love. a lot of my nostalgia for it comes from youtube between the years 2007 and 2015, and god has so much changed and yet, so little!

i made this website because of this interest in the parts of the web i want to continue experiencing. myspace.windows93 was my first introduction to coding, and after that was shut down, it just continued being an interest. getting accounts on other myspace inspired sites or making a carrd didn't fill the m93 shaped hole in my heart, so i ended up begrudgingly staring a neocities in november of the same year.

my skills back then ... um ... sucked. i can't find any pics of neither the first nor second editions, but they're bad. take my word. (i'd show you whats on archive.org but it has almost nothing archived, and of what is left is some highly personal information i no longer want shared)

as i type this, i'm actually working on a relayout of my current site - it won't be out anytime soon, but i mention it because unlike my other two layouts, i plan on preserving this current one. i do kind of wish i had preserved the old ones, because even though they sucked, they were all hank wimbleton history. it's always nice to get a living view of the past, and it's sad i forgot that so much so that i've lost the original versions. if ALL sites were lost like that, even the worst of the worst, how would i ever have even thought to make this neocities?!
